Questions we get a lot
Are these really made by hand?
Yes. Every piece is cut, sanded and oiled in our Castlemaine workshop. We are a two-person studio, not a factory line.
Why is something always sold out?
We make in small batches. When a run sells through, that item is out for a few weeks while the next batch is cut and dried. Email us and we will tell you when the next run lands.
How do I look after the timber?
Wipe it down and re-oil it every few months with a food-safe oil. Full steps are in our caring for oiled timber guide.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes, we ship anywhere in Australia. Email your postcode for a shipping quote when you enquire to order.
Can I order a custom size?
Sometimes. If you have a specific desk or bench in mind, email us and we will tell you if it is something we can cut.
What timber do you use?
Bamboo for the Desk Cube and Bench Caddy, walnut for the Pen Tray. Both are finished with a food-safe oil, not lacquer.
